It was a dry but cold and breezy evening for the second club evening time trial of 2023 at Betteshanger CP. There was a field of 21 riders, made up of 7 juniors and 14 seniors. In spite of the poor conditions, times for most riders were broadly similar those of the previous week, a few a bit quicker, others a little slower.
Top of the times for the junior riders was Alex Dack, with 25.55. The fastest girl rider was Nina Reid, whose time was 29.34. Ferne Peirce experienced bad luck for the send week in a row, picking a puncture on her final lap.
Lance Childs (TAAP Endura) was quickest senior rider for the second week in a row with a fine 20.33, the same time as his ride from last week. The quickest Thanet RC member was Paul Reid, in a time of 25.36, while top of the women’s times was Faye Faiers with 27.59.
