The first of the evening 10 mile time trials for 2023 at Betteshanger CP was held in cool, breezy and overcast conditions. A total of 20 riders signed on, 10 juniors and 10 seniors.
With a good time of 25.39, our quickest junior was Dougie Tulett, while second claim member Harriet Butcher recorded 27.35 for the position of fastest girl. Alice Tulett was the fastest first claim girl rider.
Moving onto the seniors, second claim rider Lance Childs rode to an excellent time of 20.33, while the first full claim member was Steve Wright in second place with 26.15. In equal third place with Pete Huckstep was the fastest woman rider, Tanya Scott, in a time of 26.56.
