Following on from a great grass track meeting were Claudia, Alice, Harriet, Max and Myself came third in the team pursuit.
The following day I headed to Redbridge to compete in round 3 of the National under 14 road series. After a tough hour and 16 ascents up the notorious Hogenberg I came 28th out of a field of 46 starters, really pleased with my result.
On the bank holiday Monday we were again in London at the Hillingdon circuit where Harriet took the overall and 1st place under 8 girl with William coming 3rd overall and 2nd place boy. In my race I came 6th competing against some national riders from the previous day, a fantastic weekend racing.
On Saturday (1st June), We headed to Hillingdon for round 4 of the nationals, unfortunately I didn’t do so well due to the 30 degree heat, I think I was dehydrated coming towards the back of the field. Both William and Harriet took part in the support race, Harriet 2nd overall and 2nd girl with William 4th overall and 2nd boy.
