A great turnout for Thanet RC youth cyclists at the Cyclopark, for the two day stage race.
Kicked off with the under 10’s, Harriet was in great form over the two days taking the win for the girls, followed by Alice Tulett and Claudia Bates taking joint second place. William came 6th for the boys overcoming a mechanical problem on the first day.
Under 12 boy’s saw a very strong field and Dougie Tulett holding his own to come in 16th overall.
Under 14 boy’s saw Alex Dack perform extremely well, again with a high standard field coming in 11th overall over 4 stages.
Under 14 girl’s was represented by Millie Dack, again contesting in 4 stages over two days coming in 8th overall.
Ferne Peirce and myself (Tallulah) competed in the under 16 girls, I came 8th and Ferne came 12th overall.
It was a great weekend of racing after a year off for myself, and great to see so many Thanet youth riders take part.
