TRC testers were out and about in abundance this weekend.
Sat 8th April – West Kent RC 10 Q10/22 Harrietsham
The cold wet conditions curtailed the number of TRC starters for this early morning event.
Feedback was that you couldn’t see the pot holes because of the waterlogged course!
Despite the conditions the event went ahead as planned

Sat 8th April – British Universities and College sports (BUCs) 10 – E33/10 Cambridge
Our youngsters Chris Fennell and Sebastian Dickson were representing their respective Universities in the BUCS 10.
Despite conditions both recorded respectable times finishing 6th and 8th respectively

Sat 8th April – Lea Valley CC 25 E2/25 Newmarket
Competing just after the BUCs on the E2/25 was lone Thanet traveller Simon Henderson
Conditions were steadily improving; warm and dry with a SW breeze helping on the backward leg.

Sun 9th April – Sydenham Wheelers 25 Q25/20 Harrietsham
Some riders were fooled by the error on CTT that listed this event on the Chilham Q25/8 course and entered this sporting course event.
Great to see the 9 TRC starters were blessed with fine and dry, but rather cool conditions – a distinct improvement from Saturday morning.
The breeze was favourable for this course helping on the Ashford –Leeds leg and resulting in a smattering of course PB’s (hope I have remembered them all!)
Some great rides from Rick and Huck just missing out on ‘under the hour’.
