The fourth week of the season saw yet another large field sign on for the last in the current batch of 10 mile time trials at Fowlmead. 66 riders took part, 13 juniors and 53 seniors.

Conditions were fair with light winds and moderate temperatures. Fastest junior by one second was Olly Dickson with 24.07, just ahead of Ollie Robinson. Chris Fennell was the fastest senior rider with another sub 21 minute ride, clocking 20.49. Fastest Thanet RC rider was second place Simon Henderson with 22.05.

The club and the riders would like to extend a big thank you to all those who were scheduled to help as part of the help and ride scheme and everyone else who turned up and volunteered. Thanks to Dave Mastin, Andy McCall, Keith Allen, Colin Inett, Chris Redmond, Teresa Childs, Brian Hood and James Allen.

Riders note for next week:

Start time is first rider off at 19.00 sharp and the field will be limited to 30 riders to ensure compliance with our CTT commitment – so please turn up in plenty of time to sign on.
