The third week of the current batch of four time trials on the Thanet Way saw an improvement in the weather and more riders signing on. The weather was sunny but cool with a steady north easterly breeze and 32 riders signed on.

With the improvement in the weather came an improvement in times as well. Making his first appearance at a club time trial was Matt Seward who recorded a very decent time of 24.01 on a road bike. There was a course PB for Scott Meeks and also Charmaine Pullen, but Jo Smith had the misfortune to snap her chain on the outward leg.

It was very tight at the top, with just a second between Nic Fennell with 21.49 and Huck Garip with 21.50. Close behind in third place was Simon Henderson with 21.55. Times of all rider can be found in the PDF document.

Helpers this week were Pete Huckstep, George Pittock, John Beggs, Ollie Robinson, Alan Chrystal, Harry Rowland, Malcolm Adams, Andy McCall and Dave Mastin.

Report by Dave Mastin.
