Spring in the Park round.3 Friday 12th May
Good performance again at Cyclopark. Thorsten cook finished a great 6th in the under 8 race. Max given 2nd place in the under 10 race with Ludhaigh 6th and Ilana 17th. In the under 12 race Freya continues her run of good results with 3rd girl and Tom Hutton 9th in strong field. In the under 14 race Lance was 6th, Jack 16th and Finn 19th well done boys in large quality field
CC Hackney races Sat 13th May
Jack Hill, George Pittock and Joshua Chivilo made the trip to Lee Valley Velopark on Saturday for the third of this year’s CC Hackney Primavera series races.
Jack rode a good race in a field of about 30 U14 boys, improving with every race and much more comfortable in the bunch, and finished a very respectable 18th.
The U16s was a similar race, with the field of 36 mostly staying together. There were several unsuccessful attacks and George and Joshua both took a turn on the front. It all came down to the final sprint, with Joshua 11th and George 13th.
