Due to emergency roadworks to fix a gas leak, the VTTA Kent 10 mile time trial on the A20 Harrietsham-Charing course was shortened to 6.6 miles. Conditions were cool and grey, with damp roads after overnight rain. The wind was from an easterly direction, leading to a hard ride to the turn, but a tailwind on the return leg.
The fastest ride overall was by the club’s Nic Fennell with a fine 13.49. There were several other club riders taking part. Times of all club riders as follows in starting order:-
