Another busy day of racing for our young riders in the club. At the 2nd round of the CC Hackney Primavera series at Lee Valley road circuit Max started off with a 3rd place in the U10s. Lance Childs again suffered bad luck crashing in the U14 race (initial worries of broken bones thankfully proved negative after trip to A and E) in the U16 race George Pittock tried a late attack off the front but just got caught before the line to take 20th with Hamish Reilly in his first race of the season coming in close behind.
Finally over in Belgium again Ollie Robinson again secured a fine results of 4th of 100 riders in the Gelvuld classic race. Seems like he recovered after a hard workout following Dad in the 10 mile TTT the day before. He’s racing again with Toby Perry and Alex Ashman in the SE junior race series tomorrow in Appledore.
