Conditions for the latest 10 mile time trial at Betteshanger were an improvement on the previous week, but were still challenging for the 43 riders who signed on. The wind was from the north east once again, although not so strong, and the temperature was a slight improvement on the previous week.

A total of 12 juniors took part and the comfortable winner was Toby Perry with an excellent 22.30. Fastest girl was the ever improving Catherine Morrell with a fine 26.54 and another age record for a 15 year old girl. Max Robinson rode to record 28.46 and update the age record for a 10 year old boy, previously held by his brother, Flynn.

31 seniors rode, and the top two was a case of deja vu, with second claim member Chris Fennell on top with a time of 20.06, and brother Nic in second and first of the TRC riders with 20.37. It was very tight for places 3rd to 7th, being covered by just 4 seconds. Emma Lewis of The Independent Pedlar was fastest women in a time of 22.57, while the fastest TRC woman was Breda Pooke with 29.41.

The times of all rider can be found in the PDF files below.

Helpers this week were Tansy & Lawrence Martin, Eddie Brown, Matt Hall, Martin Russell, Scott Meeks, Malcolm Adams, Michael Friend and Dave Mastin.
