We had a rather rare occurrence at this week’s evening 10 mile time trial at Betteshanger CP, some warm weather with light winds. This was reflected in some good times posted by a number of riders. A field of 27 riders took part, which included 6 junior riders.

Fastest junior was William Tulett riding a faired recumbent. His time was 24.29, more than 10 minutes quicker than last week’s ride on a regular recumbent! Brother Dougie was fastest on a time trial bike and got inside 26 minutes, recording 25.40. Nina Reid was first girl with 29.28, while there was a PB for Alice Tulett with 34.01. Seb Mugford broke the 30 minute barrier with 29.30.

Mark Hill of VeloRefined Rule5 topped the times of the senior riders with a fine 21.46, while fastest TRC senior was Neil Gerrard in a time of 22.14. Once again, the quickest woman was Faye Faiers with 27.13.

Thanks to this week’s helpers; Terry Fearn, Shawn Manning, Roger Dewen, Malcolm Adams, Andy McCall and Dave Mastin.

Times of all riders are in the attached PDFs.
