The weather for the latest evening “10” at Betteshanger was rather challenging, being cool, overcast and very breezy. This led to many of the times being slower than in previous weeks. It was quite a small field this week, presumably because of holidays. Just 13 riders took part, with 2 junior riders and 11 seniors.
The junior riders were Dougie and Alice Tulett, with Dougie coming in with 23.23 for first place and second overall, while Alice’s time was 30.26.
Second claim member Martin O’Grady was top of the times of the senior riders with 23.10, while the fastest full member was also our first female rider, Faye Faiers, in a time of 26.32. Third place went to Brian Hood with 26.55
Times of all riders can be found in the accompanying table.
As always, we must thank our band of helpers who ensure that the event can take place. This week, they were Andy McCall, Terry Fearn, Malcolm Adams and Dave Mastin.
Please Note:
