The first Thanet Way evening 10 mile time trial of the season was held in good conditions, and attracted a field of 20 riders.
There was a new PB for second claim member Chris Fennell (PMR) who was fastest overall with 20.21, beating another second claim member and team mate, Jon Parker, who recorded 20.42. Fastest Thanet RC member was Simon Henderson with 21.52, and there was a PB for new member Bill Edmondson, who was pleased with his 29.22.
As usual, thanks are due to the band of volunteers who turned out to ensure that the event could take place; Colin Inett, Teresa Childs (with Lance and Leo), Tony Arnold, Andy McCall, Rick Perkins, Malcolm Adams and Dave Mastin.
