Youth road racing – National ranking and points
The youth road racing season finished with the Cyclopark Autumn Classic on Saturday 30th September and we are delighted to report that eight Thanet RC riders scored national points in 2017. National ranking and points are shown below:
U14 Boys

U14 Girls
36th, Emily Heasman, 50

U16 Boys
138th, George Pittock, 38

Four riders were ranked in the top 20 in the South East region, with Lance Childs 4th in the U14 Boys category and Jack Hill 17th. Emily Heasman was 7th in the U14 Girls category and George Pittock 13th in the U16 Boys.
Congratulations to all of our young riders for some excellent results, for their hard work and commitment and for representing the club very well this year. Thanks also to the respective parents, without whom none of this would be possible.
