The final Wednesday evening club time trial of the current season at Betteshanger CP was held in good conditions. It was sunny with lightish winds. A total of 41 riders turned up to ride, 8 juniors and 33 seniors.
Only 5 of the juniors made it to the finish line, with 3 failing to finish. Fastest was Lance Childs with a fine 23.57 ahead of his ride in the GHS finals.
It was no surprise that Chris Fennell was top of the senior times with 19.45, while it was close for second place with Dan Martin (20.54) just edging out Nic Fennell (20.55) by a second. Fastest woman was Adalta CC’s Charmaine Pullen in 24.49, while Nicola Goodban was fastest Thanet RC woman just 4 seconds behind in 24.53. There was also another PB for Faye Faiers who recorded 26.31.
