Now we have got rid of a rather damp June, the first July evening “10” at Betteshanger was held in better conditions with plenty of warm sunshine and calmer winds. 46 riders took part, including a healthy field of 14 juniors.
Fastest of the juniors was Ollie Robinson with a fine time of 22.12. Max Robinson rode a 2-up with Ryan Jackson in a bid to crack the 30 minute barrier, but sadly fell just short with a time of 30.11. First timers at an evening “10” were Alex and Millie Dack, along with dad, Jez Dack.
Our fastest senior was Chris Fennell, with yet another sub 20 minute ride, this time recording 19.55, almost 2 minutes quicker than Simon Henderson who was second with 21.50. See attached PDF files for times.
