A number of first and second claim club members made the trip to Brenzett for the last local 25 mile time trial of the year, hosted by Southborough and District Wheelers on behalf of the VTTA Kent Group. This was held on the Hamstreet by-pass between Old Romney and Kingsnorth (Ashford) in breezy conditions. It was a hard ride into the northerly wind to Ashford, but much better on the return leg to Brenzett.
In the non-veterans part of the event, second claim member, Chris Fennell was first with 53.44, which was also good enough for second overall to Kevin Tye who recorded 52.38. Seb Dickson was second fastest of the non-veterans with 55.29. Enjoying (?) a ride on his birthday and grateful for the extra seconds on his veterans standards was Colin Inett.
