The latest evening time trial at Betteshanger CP was a 2-up team time trial 10 mile event, which also included a number of solos riders. The weather was sunny and warm, but there was a stiff south westerly breeze for the riders to overcome.
Fastest pair in the 2-up was Ryan Hosking and Matt Bell, who covered the 10 miles in 23.28, with the composite pairing of Chris Bax (PMR) and Paul Kirkness (TRC) second with a time of 24.44. Third place went to the TRC duo of Colin Robinson and Nick Austin with 24.57 Just a second further back was the mixed pairing of Sophie Driscoll and Nic Fennell (24.58), while the next place went to the first team containing a junior with Tallulah and Adrian Butcher recording 25.06.
The fastest solo rider was Rob Milnes in 22.58. Rob had started out as part of a 2-up team, but unfortunately his partner did not finish, hence his time is for a solo ride. With a time of 34.36, Jenny Fearn was fastest solo woman, and Toby Clayson (VC Deal) was fastest solo junior in a time of 33.10. Harriet Butcher was fastest girl (37.21) and William Butcher (38.11) was fastest TRC boy.
