Just a handful of riders signed on for the latest evening time trial at Betteshanger, no doubt put off by the dreadful weather from earlier in the day. However, the rain cleared and the weather improved but there was still a very strong wind.
Only 17 riders took part, which included 3 juniors. George Pittock was the quickest junior with 24.54, whilst first girl was Ferne Pierce in a time of 33.03.
Mike Kirkness was top of the senior riders in a time of 23.45, whilst second claim member, Natasha Jarman was the fastest woman with 27.14. Jenny Fearn was best Thanet RC woman with 35.20.
