This week’s field started off quite small and then became smaller as a band of rain moved into Kent during the afternoon and no doubt several riders decided to give it a miss. However, there was a spell of several hours with no rain which coincided with the latest Betteshanger evening 10 mile time trial.. Just 13 riders took part in what might be the best conditions we have experienced this year.

Six of the riders were juniors and the top boy and girl this week were the same as last week. Dougie Tulett was top of the times for the juniors with 26.36, the same as his time from a week ago. Fastest girl was Ferne Peirce once again in a time of 27.56.

The senior field of seven riders was headed by Neil Gerrard with a good time of 22.34. Faye Faiers was quickest of the women taking part, recording a time of 26.59.

Please see the attached files for all the times. Many thanks to this week’s band of helpers, Mike Stephenson, Terry Fearn, Simon Henderson, Andy McCall and Dave Mastin.
