It was the warmest Wednesday evening of the season so far this year with temperatures around 20 degrees and a brisk wind from the south west. A total of 42 riders took part, consisting of 9 juniors, 31 solo senior riders and a tandem pair.

Toby Perry was best of the juniors with an excellent time of 21.46, which would have been good enough for third place in the senior event. Once again Catherine Morrell was quickest girl with yet another age record time of 25.50.

Second claim member, Dan Martin of University of Bath CC, was fastest senior with another time close to the 19 minute mark. This week, Dan’s time was 20.14. Nic Fennell was in second place and fastest TRC rider with 20.38, while Nicola Goodban was top woman with 25.30. There was a PB for Faye Faiers (26.24), and a PB for Nick Austin since his comeback (25.55).

The tandem pairing of Sue Shields and Andy McCall improved by almost a minute on last week’s time to record 26.23.

Times for all riders can be found in the PDF files below.

Thanks as always go to the helpers; this week they were Ray Darrall, Michael Friend, Andrew Morrell, Martin Hendy, Brian Hood, Terry Fearn and Dave Mastin.
