Thanet RC riders have started the Lee Valley winter leagues off in great fashion. Firstly Lance Childs scored a number of fine podium positions in the first of the London youth track league events. These events occur every 2 weeks on Thursday nights at the velodrome. Ollie Robinson and Rob Milnes have now competed in 2 of the adult Full Gas league events. Firstly Ollie has won 3 events so far the best begin the elimination race of 28 riders with average speed of 29mph! Rob has also performed really well taking some good positions and making many strong attacks during the two events. These events are run in A, B and C groups with Ollie and Rob in the B group at the moment. The events are scratch, elimination, points and scratch. Well done Lance, Ollie and Rob on a great start to the season.
