Once again, the weather for the latest 10 mile time trial at Betteshanger CP was not that good, with a cool north easterly breeze. However, I am informed that it was better than the previous week.
We had quite a small field in the end, with just 3 juniors and 11 seniors taking part. Dougie Tulett maintained his consistency, coming in first with a time of 25.11, ahead of Seb Mugford (VC Deal) in second place, and Lawson Bax in third. Lance Childs of TAAP Endura was our quickest senior in 20.37, a time within a few seconds of his recent outings at Betteshanger. Second place and first Thanet RC rider was Neil Gerrard in a time of 22.33. Fastest woman rider was Thanet RC’s Faye Faiers, with a time of 27.39.
