The annual Good Friday 2-up 10 mile time trial at Betteshanger attracted a total of 69 riders, comprising 33 pairs and 3 solo riders. Conditions were cool and breezy, typical Betteshanger weather.
Fastest team was Chris and Nic Fennell from Thanet RC, warming up for their shot at the club’s open 2-up time trial to be held three days later. Their time was 20.29, 45 seconds ahead of the Adalta pairing of Wayne Beba & Keith Watson (21.14). Third place was taken by another Thanet RC team, Rick Perkins and Adrian Hawkins, with a time of 21.59. Fastest solo ride was by Sam Bradford of PMR with 22.03.
