This week’s turnout at Fowlmead was down slightly on last week’s, but we still had a healthy field of 56 riders. This included 11 junior and 45 senior riders. Conditions were cool and bright, but with a stiff breeze, as is often the case at Fowlmead.

The times for all riders can be found in the attached Excel files. It was an evening of mixed fortunes for those who also rode last week, with some riders faster than last week, but others were slower. Fastest junior was Calum Anderton once again with 22.03, 14 seconds down on last week’s ride. In his first full senior year, Chris Fennell of PMR was the quickest with an excellent time of 20.41, with teammate Jon Parker in second place with 21.02. Fastest Thanet RC rider in third place was another first year senior, Seb Dickson, with 22.10, beating Simon Henderson by just one second.

Once again, we would like to thank our helpers who made it possible for the event to take place. Thanks are due to Andy McCall, Keith Allen, Chris Redmond, Emma Dickson, Scott Oldman, Tony Northcott and Dave Mastin.
