Well that was a busy day and now I need to write up the results and will publish ASAP.
Summary of the day as best I remember it:
Ollie Robinson win SE GHS time trial championships overall (23:32), Dan Martin wins U16, Toby Anderton wins U13, George Edmondson wins U14, Megan Griffiths wins U14 girls. Oliver Dickson also qualify for final in Nottingham in September. Also well done to David Redmond for a great ride and just missing out on qualification.
Then we had the youth races at the Tour de Fowlmead: Thanet riders doing really well. In the U8 Thanet RC 1-2-3 with Max, Alex and Joshua. Under 10 we had Charlie 3rd and Freya 1st Girl. Under 12 Lance 1st, Flynn 3rd, George 4th. U14 Callum O’Regan 1st, and Meadhbh Cook 2nd Girl. U16 Ollie picked up his 2nd win, Dan 2nd, George 5th. Ollie also rode the Cat 3-4 adult race and came in top 15 in field of 60. Joshua Outram won the race but was disqualified on gear restriction.
Finally well done to our Young development team for organising the Go-Ride Tour event whish was great fun for all involved. Thanks to all helpers and Marshalls on a very busy day. Adult TT times will also be posted soon I think
