A total of 18 riders signed on to try and burn off the excess Christmas calories on the club’s regular Boxing Day 10 mile time trial. This was held on the Thanet Way course in bright and breezy conditions, with a SW wind keeping the temperatures in the mid teens.

Fastest time of the day was an excellent 23.27 by junior rider, Ollie Robinson, comfortable ahead of Danny Frost (Folkestone Velo) in second place with 24.57. Scott Meeks was third in a time of 25.10. Riding his first 10 was Martin Hendy on his road bike. Martin ended up with a very respectable time of 27.13. Times can be found in the attached file.

Thanks go to our band of helpers who turned out to marshal, etc. These were Sue Shields, Pete Huckstep, Simon Henderson, Malcolm Adams and Dave Mastin.

Report by Dave Mastin.
