Dear Members

The annual dinner and presentation evening – Saturday 12th November is fast approaching and as the new social secretary I thought I would make a few changes. The club is about to enter its 70th anniversary year and the theme is Cycling for generations. I thought that this year would be a great opportunity for everyone to be included – young and old. So with this in mind I have booked Minster Village Hall and O’Sheas Bistro are going to do the catering. The cost will be £16.95 for adults and children 14 and over and £8.50 for children under 14. It will be a hot and cold fork buffet with the following:

Beef Bourguignon (Braised beef with bacon, Mushrooms and Onions)

Roast Chicken with Chorizo Crumbs

Marmalade Glazed Ham

Seafood Platter (Poached Salmon, Smoked Salmon, Advocado and King Prawns)

Roast Potatoes

Hot Boiled New Potatoes in Butter

Roasted Mediterranean Vegetables

Garden Salad with French Vinaigrette

Tomato, Basil and Mozarella Pasta

Tuna Rice Salad

Baguette and Butter

Lemon Tart with Raspberry Sauce

Profiteroles with Fresh Cream and Belgian Chocolate Sauce

The younger children will have the opportunity to have a separate buffet table that will include foods like pizza, goujons, garlic bread, wedges.

The evening will commence at 6 for 6.30pm and you will be able to bring your own drinks.
