What a difference seven days makes – last Sunday morning it was 15°C – this morning it was 3°C Brrrrr.
Only 4 stalwarts from TRC ventured out this morning on this challenging event.
Taking in Charing hill and Molash hill and some of the return leg of Q25/8 the event requires quite a variety of paces.
There was a keen NE breeze that was first felt on the return leg from the Chilham fork and continuing up Molash hill.
Times were suppressed for most riders from those of the 2013 event that was run in May due to icy conditions this time last year.
Seb had another good ride and retained second place for the second year running – well done Seb!
TRC just missed out on the team prize to Medway Velo who entered 17 riders.
It was good that the relatively small field of 40 riders all stayed for prize presentations following the event.
