A small band of riders ventured down to the Romney Marsh yesterday to complete in the KCA Roy Enfield Memorial 50.
The event course was changed from the usual Q50/1 – Harrietsham to Q50/11 Brenzett, Camber Lydd –result!
Starting conditions were cool but bright with a light and variable mainly NE breeze, not necessarily the best direction for this open and exposed course.
Times were slightly down in comparison to the last event on the course.

Some interesting facts from the event………
I managed to turn up to the event with two back wheels (no front!) – but managed to ride thanks to Andrew Meilak – note to self: mark up wheel bags.
Chris Burrows was cheering the riders on at Brenzett roundabout – ‘we just saw an old boy riding without a helmet!’ a spectator exclaimed …… wonder who that was then?
