Thanet RC Go-Ride got underway in 2015 this afternoon at Fowlmead in terrible weather conditions with rain and strong winds. However coaches were amazed to have 15 riders ready to ride. Youngest being Grace at 5 years old braving the weather to show great improvement. Rider of the week was Ethan. Would be great if we could get some more adult members along to train with our older youth riders.
Also Ollie Robinson rode in the San Fairy 3rd cat circuit race today at Cyclopark in a field of 48 riders. With 6 laps to go a group of 5 went away all Ollie missed the break but decided to chase them done on his own and bridged the gap of 30 second. Unfortunately this sapped his energy however stayed in to finish 7th and gain more BC points.
