The latest evening 10 mile time trial at Betteshanger CP was held in good conditions, with warm temperatures and a gentle breeze. We had a field of 37 riders taking part, including 8 junior riders. Times were broadly similar to those of the previous week, with some riders slower, and others improving their times.

Alex Dack was top junior in a time of 26.03, while Ferne Peirce came in as fastest girl with 27.47 and third place. Dougie Tulett improved his time from last week with another PB, recording 28.40.

This week’s senior event was another close thing, with Ollie Robinson edging out Dan Martin once again by just a few seconds. Their times were 19.48 and 19.58 respectively. Second claim member, Jo Van Velzen, was fastest woman with a time of 29.47, while Jenny Fearn was fastest first claim woman in 33.43.
