It was a case of deja vu for round 3 of the PMR series of 10 mile time trials; same course, same HQ, same faces, same race numbers and same travelling issues with Operation Stack!
The conditions were good with a north easterly breeze and warm temperatures, which was reflected in the times posted. Second claim member Chris Fennell was fastest with both a PB and the course record, improving on the time posted just 24 hours earlier by another second claimer, Jon Parker. Chris’s time was 19.43. Several other club riders gained PB’s or improvements on their last 3 seasons best times. Nicola Goodban was extremely pleased with her ride as she her achieved her goal of getting under 25 minutes with 24.58.
